Vestibular/Balance Therapy

Dizziness and balance disorders are a common problem for many people. Vertigo and dizziness can be caused by a problem in the inner ear and can present as spinning or whirling sensation, lightheadedness, floating or rocking sensation of being weighted or pulled in one direction. Balance problems may be from a variety of factors including sensation or strength impairments and soft tissue restriction. Individualized programs directed at these impairment combined with gait and balance activities can improve balance and reduce risk of falls.
